If you keep your makeup and hair elegant and classic, rather then trendy, your wedding photos will be timeless. You will not look at them 15 years from now and wonder "what was I thinking!?".
Take a look at these beautiful women, they are all beauty icons and you can not tell that some of the photos were taken years ago!
Pink blush is a super hot trend in
makeup for the spring/summer 2013 season! So if you haven't found your match yet do it now!
Love cream and gel blushes! They are so easy to blend with your fingers, sponge or a brush.I am so looking forward to trying these newbies!
January is a busy booking month for many wedding vendors. We receive several inquires every day and unfortunately we have to send away many brides as the most popular dates are already booked. With that being said don't wait any longer! If you are getting married in 2013 you should book your makeup and hair services as soon as possible. The longer you wait the less of a choice you will have on who will be available on your date. The most busy and popular makeup and hair artists get booked at minimum 6 months and often over a year in advance so don't miss your chance.
Here are some tips on hiring your beauty wedding professionals:
Don't wait until last minute
As I have already mentioned most of the best wedding vendors get booked over a year in advance, that includes beauty pros as well. Of course it might happen that you just might get lucky but do not count on that. The sooner you book all your vendors the sooner you will be able to relax. When you get engaged and start planning your wedding it might seem that you have LOTS of time to take care of everything but before you know the wedding day will be here and you will be scrambling and running around to get things done. If there are vendors that you really admire contact and book them as soon as possible; this is a once in a lifetime event and you dont want to settle for second best.
Think wisely about your investment.
We have to face it: the more experienced and popular the vendor is the higher the price of his or her services, If you are going to save money on anything it should not be your wedding day. It is one of the most important events in your life and you want your memories to be perfect, I can't tell you how many times I have seen a bride hire a "friend of a friend" to take her wedding photos just to be horribly disappointed at the end result. Similarly with your beauty vendors: no matter how beautiful your dress is, how great the photographer if your makeup and hair is not looking picture perfect. Yes, sure you can find a newbie makeup and hair artists who charge a fraction of what we do but will you be able to trust that they will provide you with the best service possible?
Do your homework
Many brides struggle with decision on which vendor to choose. I would say if you love someone's work, check their reviews ( wedding wire is a great source), get some references and if you can make it happen financially just book it! Dont second guess yourself, trust your gut. If it seems like it will be a good match, it will be and you will usually know it pretty soon.
Have fun planning your wedding
